Junior Club Hockey

The Junior Club Hockey program is Skate City's "next step" in developing young inline hockey players looking for more commitment and competition.  Our Club Program consists of league play September-December and a Tournament Series January-June that all culminates at our Walt Frazier Invitational in early June.  The beautiful Xfinity Arena Roller Sports Arena in Colorado Springs hosts our Club events as players from all over the country look to compete at a higher level and represent their club.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Yes. Junior Club Hockey League (JCHL run September-December) is included. The Junior Club Tournament Series (JCTS runs January-June) is also included.

Yes. The Walt Frazier Invitational held in June is not included with a sports membership. There is a $75 registration fee to participate in that tournament. A player will also need to purchase a uniform. Home and away jerseys, along with the Club Team pants, are needed to participate.  These are approximately $50/item.

Each club practices every Sunday for the younger age groups from 7:00am-8:30am at your local Skate City.  Added practices during the week can be attended by the older age groups. League games or tournaments are hosted approximately every 2-3 weeks during the year.

Club divisions are as follows: 10u, 12u, 14u, 17u
NOTE: These divisions are decided by birth year and are updated heading into our JCHL in September.
EXAMPLE: 2024 JCTS birth years:
* 10u - 2013 and younger
* 12u - 2011, 2012
* 14u - 2009, 2010
* 17u - 2006, 2007, 2008

Players should register to play with the Skate City Club that is closest to your home. Please refer to the Junior Club Hockey team information listed above.
