Junior PIHA Hockey
Skate City Sports and the Professional Inline Hockey Association (PIHA) have partnered to bring a new youth league to Colorado! PIHA is the longest standing professional inline hockey league in the world and is heading into its 24th season. Skate City Sports has been the driving force in youth inline for over three decades and will continue to grow the game here in the Rocky Mountains. Both groups are very excited and looking forward to this 2024 Junior PIHA season.

What are the requirements to Play?
Junior PIHA Hockey is for players that are exceeding the standard skill level of our Rec League program. All skaters participating at the Junior PIHA Hockey level should have prior experience and are proficient on inline skates. A Skate City Sports Membership is also required.
Where is Junior PIHA Hockey offered?
Junior PIHA Hockey is offered at all of our Skate City rinks. Players should register to play with the club/Skate City that is closest to your home. Please refer to the club information below.
ABOUT JUNIOR PIHA
JUNIOR PIHA costs are all included in the Skate City Sports Membership. All players must also have an NRS membership and must purchase organizational pant ($40/pair youth & $44 pair adult) available at the Arena Proshop.
Also included in membership:
- 20 regular season games - played at the Xfinity Roller Sports Arena in Colorado Springs.
- Playoff Weekend and All Star Game.
- Custom sublimated organizational jersey.
- Select games braodcast LIVE on RollerPlanet.net and the Roller Planet YouTube channel.
- Minimum of 15 practices - Saturday mornings from 7:00 - 8:15am at your local Skate City rink.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Yes. Junior PIHA Hockey is included in every Skate City Sports Membership.
Yes, all players MUST purchase the Team Pants. These can be purchased at the Arena Pro Shop at the cost $40 for youth and $44 for adult sizes.
Each organization practices every Saturday for all age groups from 7:00am-8:15am at your local Skate City. League games are hosted approximately every 2-3 weeks during the year.
Junior PIHA divisions are as follows: 9u, 12u, 15u
NOTE: These divisions are decided by birth year and are updated heading into each Jr PIHA season.
EXAMPLE: 2024 Junior PIHA birth years:
- 9u - 2015, 2016, 2017 and younger
- 2u - 2012, 2013, 2014
- 15u - 2009, 2010, 2011
