Originally from Colombia, Ronald Daza brings years of elite experience as both a competitive speed skater and national-level coach. He skated for and coached the Colombian national team, gaining valuable international experience at the highest levels of the sport. His family operates the largest speed skating club in Bogotá, Colombia, where he developed a deep foundation in coaching and athlete development. He plays a key role in athlete development and private instruction, with a focus on technical growth and competitive preparation. Ronald also leads training camps and supports the growth of speed skating throughout the entire Skate City organization.
Josh Simas is a decorated speed skating coach and former national competitor with over a decade of coaching experience. As a USARS Indoor National Finalist by age 8 and a multi-time regional and national medalist, Josh brings firsthand knowledge of high-level competition. A certified USARS and USRSS coach, Josh focuses on developing technique, speed, and confidence in skaters of all ages.
