DOMESTIC RULES IN AFFECT

2 Period Times:

GOLD 20 MINUTE PERIODS – SILVER 15 MINUTE PERIODS – 17U 15 MINTUE PERIODS

One timeout is granted per game. It will last 1 minute. No Timeouts in Sudden Death Periods.

Halftime - Max 3 minutes & 3 minutes between games. BE READY TO PLAY ON TIME!

Note: This may be adjusted depending on schedule status.

All divisions will play a round robin receiving 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss. If Teams are tied in points at the end “goals against” percentage will decide placements. Final games will be on Sunday afternoon with Teams 1 & 2 in each division playing for the Cup Championship. These will be live streamed.

Goal Celebrations are encouraged BUT at no time should players throw sticks or pound on the barrier. Players are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. Warnings will be given and team captains will serve any administrative penalties accessed and any player showing disrespect to players, fans, or officials will be removed from the building.

Teams must have 3 players and 1 goalkeeper to begin a game. Head Coach and Captain must be designated.

All players must wear a helmet during warmups and games.

A goalkeeper shown a blue card will be punished in accordance with Art. 18 if the team has a dressed back-up goalkeeper. If the team does not have a dressed back-up goalkeeper the team captain will serve the time penalty of goalkeeper.

Golden Goal format will be in effect for final games only. Sudden death periods are two 5-minute periods with no halftime. If no goal is scored during this 10-minute extra time, a shootout will determine the winner.

Teams are expected to be present and ready to play at their scheduled game time.  The 10 minute grace period begins when the referee calls the teams to the floor for the start of the game. If a team is not on the floor with 3 players and a goalie it will be considered a forfeit. Schedules frequently change so it is recommended you check Skate City Sports web site for schedule changes and Live Stream game schedule.

Teams must be in matching uniforms including jersey, shorts & socks. Players playing on multiple teams may be given leniency at the discretion of the head referee and/or meet director with regards to their shorts and socks for the sake of the schedule.

One referee may referee a game at the discretion of the Head Referee or Meet Director. This will normally be the case in all 17U & Silver divisions.

ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT INFO

  • All team captains must have a designed arm band identifying them as the captain.
  • All teams will have matching shorts, jerseys and socks.
  • Foreign players who are not affiliated with National Roller Sports Association (NRS) must sign a waiver provided by Skate City Sports before going on the floor.
