Refund policy

MEMBERSHIPS/SUBSCRIPTIONS

Subscription and membership charges are generally non-refundable once they have been processed, unless otherwise required by law or approved by Skate City Sports.

Canceling a membership or subscription stops future recurring charges, but it does not automatically refund previous charges, current billing-cycle charges, processed orders, shipped orders, fulfilled services, or membership benefits that have already been made available.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval is not guaranteed and may depend on the type of membership or subscription, whether the order has already been processed or fulfilled, whether benefits have already been used, and the timing of the request.

For memberships that include access to discounts, services, events, digital content, member-only pricing, or other benefits, refunds are not typically issued for time already used, benefits already accessed, or billing periods that have already started.

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date
  • Not using the membership or subscription
  • Failing to update billing, shipping, or account information
  • Renewal charges that have already been processed
  • Subscription orders that have already shipped or been fulfilled
  • Membership benefits, discounts, or access that have already been used or made available

If you believe there was a billing error, duplicate charge, unauthorized renewal, technical issue, or other problem with your subscription, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the situation.

Refunds, when approved, will be issued back to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Skate City Sports reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not meet this policy or appear to involve misuse, abuse, or repeated refund claims.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at helios@skatecitycolorado.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

All custom made sports apparel through Helios are made to order and are final sale. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for customized items. Please verify all sizing and personalization details prior to purchase. Defective or incorrect items will be replaced if the issue is due to our error.

Event Registration Policy

This Event Registration Policy applies to all event registrations, class registrations, camps, clinics, workshops, private sessions, tournaments, parties, lessons, reservations, and other scheduled activities purchased through Skate City Sports.

By purchasing an event registration, you agree to the terms below.

Event Registration Delivery

Event registrations are delivered electronically. No physical item will be shipped unless the product description clearly states otherwise.

After purchase, you may receive confirmation through one or more of the following:

  • An order confirmation email
  • A registration confirmation email
  • Access through your customer account
  • A QR code, ticket, pass, or check-in confirmation
  • Instructions listed on the product page or checkout confirmation page

Please make sure the email address used at checkout is accurate. We are not responsible for missed event information caused by incorrect email addresses, spam filters, blocked emails, or outdated account information.

Attendance and Check-In

Customers are responsible for reviewing the event date, time, location, age requirements, skill requirements, equipment requirements, and any other event details before purchasing.

Please arrive on time and bring any required confirmation, QR code, ID, waiver, or equipment listed in the event description.

Late arrival may result in reduced participation time or missed participation. We are not required to extend event time, provide a make-up session, or issue a refund for late arrivals.

Refunds for Event Registrations

Event registration purchases are generally non-refundable once purchased, unless otherwise required by law or approved by Skate City Sports.

Refunds are not typically provided for:

  • No-shows
  • Late arrivals
  • Change of schedule or change of mind
  • Failure to attend
  • Failure to read the event details before purchasing
  • Failure to meet age, skill, equipment, or participation requirements
  • Duplicate registrations made under different accounts
  • Weather, travel, traffic, illness, or personal conflicts, unless otherwise stated
  • Removal from an event due to unsafe behavior or violation of event rules

Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval is not guaranteed and may depend on the event type, timing of the request, staffing, capacity limits, materials purchased, and whether the registration spot can be filled by another participant.

Cancellation Requests

If you can no longer attend an event, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation requests must be submitted at least [X hours/days] before the event start time to be considered for a refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduling option.

Requests made after the cutoff period may not be eligible for any refund, credit, transfer, or make-up session.

Transfers and Rescheduling

Event registrations may not be transferred to another person, date, class, or event unless approved by Skate City zsports.

If transfers or rescheduling are allowed, they may be subject to availability, deadlines, price differences, administrative fees, or event-specific rules.

Unused registrations do not automatically roll over to a future event.

Event Changes or Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, or modify an event due to low enrollment, staffing needs, facility issues, weather, emergencies, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If we cancel an event, we may offer one or more of the following options:

  • A refund
  • Store credit
  • Transfer to a future event
  • Rescheduled event date
  • Comparable replacement event

We are not responsible for travel costs, lodging, missed work, equipment costs, or other expenses related to an event change or cancellation.

Participant Requirements

Some events may have age limits, skill requirements, safety rules, equipment requirements, dress codes, or waiver requirements.

Participants who do not meet the listed requirements may be refused participation without refund.

For minors, a parent or legal guardian may be required to complete registration, sign waivers, remain on-site, or provide emergency contact information depending on the event.
