Learn To Spin
This is our 'Learn To Spin' class which is a perfect place to start for beginners and skaters coming for the first time.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN CLASS:
Skating: Smooth glides, precise edge work, jumps and spins
Body: Proper posture and balance
Develop Strong Technical Foundations
RINK SCHEDULES:
Academy: Saturdays from 7:00 to 8:15 am
Austin Bluffs: Sundays from 8:00 to 10:00 am
Aurora: Sundays from 6:00 to 9:00 am
Littleton: Saturdays from 6:00 to 9:15 am
Arvada: Saturdays from 7:00 to 9:15 am
Westminster: Sundays from 7:00 to 9:00 am
We also host weekday practices at all of our locations and an Artistic Skating membership gives you access to all of them! (LIVE CALENDAR)

Artistic Skaters: Competitive Requirements
USARS AMATEUR CARD REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT:
All competitive Artistic skaters need to register with USARS and obtain an amateur card in order to compete in USARS events.

Luis De Mattia
Acclaimed artistic roller skating coach and world champion with over two decades of experience in competitive and instructional skating. Luis has coached elite-level skaters and national teams across South America and Europe, with a focus on compulsory figures and technical artistry.
Luis earned numerous international accolades, including two World Championships in the Senior category of compulsory figures (2014, 2015), multiple gold medals at the German and Italian Cups, and nine South American Championship titles. His deep understanding of artistic technique is combined with a competitive career that spanned the globe - and he could be your coach.
TEAM USA ATHLETE & CAPTAIN + WORLD MEDALIST
Erin Gaber has dedicated more than 30 years to the sport of artistic roller skating as an athlete, coach, and program leader. A 10 time Team USA athlete, Team USA Captain, and three time World medalist, Erin represented the United States internationally across three disciplines: Solo Dance, Team Dance, and Figures. During her international competitive career, she earned two World bronze medals and one World silver medal.
For more than 20 years, Erin has carried that experience into coaching and athlete development. She has trained multiple skaters who have qualified to represent both Team USA and Team Taipei and has coached numerous National Champions, National medalists and finalists, and Regional medalists and champions.
ERIN GABER
For approximately 15 years, Erin has consulted with coaches and high level dance skaters pursuing Team USA qualification and international competition, throughout the United States and in Taiwan.
In 2020, Erin founded the Skate City Sports artistic skating program, establishing the foundation for the program and beginning its development within Skate City. She continues to lead its growth today as Denver Area Director of Artistic Skating and Co Director of the Skate City Sports Artistic Team. In this role, Erin oversees artistic skating development throughout the Denver area Skate City locations while collaborating on the continued growth and direction of the broader Skate City Sports artistic program.
Erin is classically trained across the major disciplines of artistic roller skating, including Free Skating, Figures, Loops, Solo Dance, and Team Dance, encompassing both American domestic and international styles.
